## Terms of Use

Draft revision 0 · /legal/terms

### Purpose and status

GIGtrunk helps people discover opportunities, communicate and build a work reputation. These are proposed terms for attorney review, not an effective agreement. The operator is GIGtrunk, LLC, 4636 Lebanon Pike, Suite 317, Hermitage, TN 37076, United States. Governing jurisdiction, eligibility and effective date are pending confirmation.

### Your account

Use accurate information, protect your login and act only for yourself or a business you are authorized to represent. Use one account for GIGor, GIGee and GIGness. Do not impersonate others or create replacement accounts to evade restrictions or reputation. Mistaken matches must be reviewable.

### Work arrangements

Participants agree directly on scope, timing, price, qualifications and responsibility for their work. GIGtrunk never handles payments for gig work: no work checkout, escrow, commissions on earnings or worker payouts. Platform access and approved verification or advertising charges are separate. Users must meet applicable licensing, insurance, tax and safety requirements; this wording does not determine anyone’s employment status.

### Content and service use

Only post material you have permission to share. The proposed content permission is limited to hosting, displaying and processing content to operate the service and handle reports; it does not transfer ownership or grant unrelated marketing use. Do not scrape private data, interfere with security or use automated abuse. Attorney review must finalize license scope and deletion effects.

### Restrictions and changes

GIGtrunk may restrict abusive or unsafe activity, with review and appeal where appropriate. Service availability and checks cannot guarantee another person’s performance or safety. Final rules for suspension notice, service changes, contract acceptance and version records remain to be approved.

### Attorney decisions

No arbitration clause, class-action waiver, liability cap, indemnity obligation, age threshold or governing-law selection is imposed by this draft. Counsel must decide these provisions and preserve rights that cannot be waived.

### Do your own due diligence

Before hiring, accepting work, sharing sensitive information, making an agreement or paying anyone, independently evaluate the other participant and the proposed work. Verify identity, references, qualifications, required licenses, insurance, business authority, scope, site conditions and payment arrangements as appropriate. Read written terms and confirm material changes. Listings, reviews, search placement and verification badges are information sources, not an endorsement or a substitute for your own investigation.

### Independent agreements and payments

GIGtrunk is a discovery and connection platform. It is not the provider of a user’s work, an agent authorized to bind either participant, an escrow service or a guarantor of their agreement. Users set and document scope, compensation, materials, scheduling, permits, taxes, cancellation, warranties and dispute arrangements themselves. Users make payments directly to one another. GIGtrunk does not determine those payment terms or undertake to collect payment, ensure performance or resolve work-contract disputes. Actual legal relationships depend on law and facts, not a label in these terms.

### Safety, performance and user disputes

Users are responsible for assessing and managing risks in their interactions, travel, property access and work. GIGtrunk does not guarantee anyone’s identity, honesty, competence, safety, insurance, legal compliance, payment or results. To the extent permitted by law, GIGtrunk is not responsible for agreements, conduct, acts or omissions of users, including nonpayment, defective work, injury, property loss or disputes arising between them. This does not exclude liability or duties that applicable law does not allow GIGtrunk to exclude, nor promise that a verification check eliminates risk.

### User-generated content and third parties

Users are responsible for content they submit and must have the necessary rights and permissions. GIGtrunk does not adopt every post, representation, review, advertisement or linked third-party statement as its own and does not guarantee accuracy, completeness or legality. GIGtrunk may review, restrict or remove content and respond to valid complaints and legal obligations; it does not promise to pre-screen every item. This provision does not waive legal duties or itself establish immunity or copyright safe-harbor protection.

### Illegal use and platform abuse

Do not use GIGtrunk to facilitate crimes, fraud, unlawful discrimination, exploitation, trafficking, illegal goods or services, theft, threats, or violations of privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not post child sexual abuse material, nonconsensual intimate imagery, malware, stolen credentials, doxxing, fraudulent offers or forged qualifications. Do not evade sanctions or restrictions, manipulate reviews, harvest private information, defeat access controls or disrupt the service. Report suspected violations without redistributing illegal material.

### Service limits and nonwaivable rights

Subject to applicable law, the platform is offered as available without a promise of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific earnings, successful hiring or guaranteed matches. Interruptions or feature changes may occur. Nothing here prevents truthful reviews, lawful reports to authorities, statutory consumer remedies, or rights that cannot be waived. Counsel must finalize any warranty exclusions, damages limitations, release or indemnity language for the applicable jurisdictions; no unlimited immunity is represented.

### Severability and policy versions

The proposed final agreement should identify its effective version and explain changes prospectively. If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it should be limited or severed as applicable rather than eliminating mandatory rights. Publishing an updated draft does not establish that any user accepted it. Final acceptance, notices, entire-agreement and survival provisions require counsel approval.

## Privacy Notice

Draft revision 0 · /legal/privacy

### Status and operator

This draft describes the intended privacy framework and known beta systems. The operator is GIGtrunk, LLC, 4636 Lebanon Pike, Suite 317, Hermitage, TN 37076, United States. The privacy contact, covered regions, effective date and rights process must be finalized before treating this as the final notice.

### Information involved

Account email and authentication records; profile name, approximate area, skills and availability; GIGs, responses, bookings, messages and reviews; support submissions; security and consent records; and, when enabled, phone verification, uploads, push subscriptions, platform billing and identity-check results. Do not submit government IDs or sensitive documents through ordinary messages.

### Purposes and visibility

Use information to operate accounts, match opportunities, communicate, prevent abuse, administer platform services and resolve disputes. Published profile fields and public listings are visible to their intended audience. Email, phone, exact work-location details, private messages and verification documents must not become public profile fields. Some contact details unlock only for authorized confirmed participants.

### Providers and disclosures

The beta uses Supabase for account/database services, Vercel for hosting and Resend for authentication email. Stripe, Telnyx, push delivery and media/identity processing must be described according to actual activation and provider contracts. Authorized providers receive only information needed for their services. Final disclosures for legal requests, corporate transfers and international processing require review; no blanket claim of “no sharing” is made.

### Controls and rights

The proposed process covers access, correction, deletion, export and applicable privacy choices, with proportionate identity verification and authorized-agent procedures where required. Signed-in beta users can raise a support case. A verified public contact and post-deletion request process are not yet configured; do not treat this draft as a working request form.

### Retention and safeguards

Retention depends on the record and purpose. See Account Deletion & Retention for the proposed 36-month reputation limit. Limit staff access and log sensitive changes; no system guarantees absolute security. Finalize separate schedules for logs, messages, backups, billing and check results. Do not automatically apply the reputation period to every data category.

### Children, advertising and regional rights

Minimum age and children’s access are pending counsel review. Before launch, inventory analytics and advertising flows, determine whether any activity constitutes sale/sharing or targeted advertising under applicable law, and implement required choices and signal handling. This draft does not claim those controls already exist.

## Cookies & Device Storage

Draft revision 0 · /legal/cookies

### Necessary storage

Authentication uses cookies to maintain sessions. The app also uses browser/device storage for application preferences and installed-app behavior. Blocking or clearing necessary storage can sign you out or remove local preferences.

### Optional technologies

Inventory production cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising identifiers and third-party requests before publication. Do not label all storage essential or claim consent controls exist without testing. Nonessential tracking should follow the approved consent/opt-out rules for each supported region.

### Your choices

Browser settings let you clear site data and control permissions. Notification permission is separate from cookie choices. Clearing site data does not delete server-side records or cancel a subscription.

### Pending inventory

Counsel and engineering must complete names, purposes, providers and lifetimes for each technology, including embedded content and font requests. A preference center and applicable browser privacy-signal handling remain to be validated.

## Account Deletion & Retention

Draft revision 0 · /legal/retention

### Proposed policy

Deleting an account should remove its public profile and personal photos/videos without creating a way to erase reputation and rejoin as a new person. This workflow is not yet fully implemented. A metadata “deleted” flag is not proof that files have been physically removed.

### Photos and videos

The target process revokes access, deletes original uploads and generated copies, and tracks failed cleanup until confirmed complete. Processor copies and backups need a documented expiry schedule. Already issued download links may remain usable until they expire; copies independently saved by other people cannot be remotely erased. Shared business assets require ownership review.

### Limited reputation retention

We propose retaining necessary scores, reviews, dispute evidence and minimal account-linking records privately for up to 36 months from account deletion. The purposes are preventing replacement-account abuse, investigating disputes and correcting mistaken identity matches. These records are not intended for marketing or continued public display of a deleted profile.

### Why 36 months

People may use GIGtrunk seasonally or return after long breaks. Thirty-six months is a proposed maximum, not a statutory requirement or proven minimum. Review actual dispute timing and repeat-account evidence at least annually and shorten retention when no longer necessary.

### Disputes and returning users

Users should be able to challenge review accuracy and incorrect account matches after deletion, without restoring a public profile. Link a returning user only using verified evidence and review where needed. Names, shared networks and recycled phone numbers alone do not prove identity. A name change does not reset existing ratings.

### Expiry and exceptions

At expiry, delete or irreversibly anonymize retained records. A documented unresolved dispute or legal obligation may justify keeping only the relevant evidence longer, with access limits and a review date. Do not restart the clock merely because someone submits a privacy request. Applicable deletion rights may require earlier action.

### Implementation and review

Physical cleanup, derivative/backup schedules, post-deletion verification and appeals, automated expiry and reviewed reputation corrections must be completed before this becomes an operating promise. Counsel must validate lawful retention and disclosure. Until a public privacy contact is confirmed, signed-in beta support is the available request channel; it is not a substitute for the planned post-deletion route.

## Reviews, GIGscores & Appeals

Draft revision 0 · /legal/reviews

### Honest experiences

Reviews should reflect real work and relevant firsthand experiences. Do not fabricate work, buy favorable ratings, coordinate retaliation, impersonate reviewers or offer incentives conditioned on a positive or negative review. Paying for access, advertising or verification does not buy a better score.

### Fair moderation

Disagreement or a low score alone is not a reason to remove a review. Reports alone must not lower a score. Review content may require moderation for fraud, threats, exposed private information or irrelevant abuse. Preserve honest criticism and apply consistent criteria.

### How to dispute

Signed-in beta users can open a support case with the review or GIG identifier, the specific error and supporting facts. Avoid sending unrelated private material. Do not contact or threaten another user to force a change. A dedicated review-linked form and post-deletion route remain to be implemented.

### Review and appeal

The proposed process records the original review, the challenge, relevant evidence, reviewer decision and any correction. Authorized staff should assess both sides without exposing private evidence unnecessarily. Users should receive a reason and an appeal route. Existing support cases allow appeals of resolved outcomes; automatic score correction is not yet connected.

### Transparency

Publish scoring criteria, eligibility and aggregation rules before final launch. No new scoring weights or response-time penalties are set by this draft. Retention of deleted-user reputation follows the separate retention policy, subject to corrections and verified matching.

## Community & Safety Rules

Draft revision 0 · /legal/safety

### Respect and lawful use

No threats, harassment, hate, discrimination, exploitation, fraud, impersonation, stalking or disclosure of another person’s private information. Do not post unlawful services, stolen material or misleading credentials. Final prohibited-service categories and age restrictions require approval.

### Safe work

Describe scope and hazards honestly. Confirm required licenses, permits and insurance for the work. Do not use a badge as a guarantee of skill or safety. Participants should agree on arrangements and use reasonable precautions when meeting or entering a worksite.

### Accounts and businesses

Use one personal account with authorized business roles. Do not evade bans, manipulate matching or scores, or share staff privileges. Shared/reassigned phone conflicts require review rather than automatic accusations.

### Reports and enforcement

Use in-app support/reporting for concerns. Reports may lead to review, content restrictions or account action; they do not automatically prove wrongdoing. Authorized staff access and reasons should be recorded. Appeals should remain available for mistakes.

### Emergencies

GIGtrunk is not an emergency service and does not promise continuous monitoring or immediate response. Contact local emergency services for urgent danger.

### Prohibited content and activities

Do not post or arrange illegal goods or services, sexual exploitation, trafficking, child abuse material, nonconsensual intimate imagery, threats of violence, stolen property, identity theft, malware or fraud. Do not publish private addresses, contact details, financial information or identifying documents without authority. Do not seek work requiring a license or permit you do not hold, misrepresent insurance, or arrange unlawful discrimination. Do not solicit deposits through deception or use the service to launder funds or evade legal restrictions.

### Agreements and payment precautions

Independently check who you are dealing with and confirm the work and payment terms in writing. Evaluate advance-payment requests and pressure tactics carefully. Do not assume an account, badge, ad or favorable score guarantees payment or safe work. Payments and work agreements are solely between participants; GIGtrunk provides no escrow or payment protection for them.

### Handling illegal material

Report the location of suspected prohibited content and relevant facts through support without downloading or forwarding illegal material. GIGtrunk may preserve required evidence, restrict access and cooperate with lawful requests. Specialist reporting, emergency escalation and legally mandated removal procedures must be established before broader launch; this draft does not claim continuous monitoring.

## Platform Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

Draft revision 0 · /legal/billing

### Scope

This policy concerns GIGtrunk platform opportunity access, advertising and separately approved verification charges. GIGtrunk never processes payments between people for gig work and provides no escrow, worker payouts or commission on earnings.

### Current beta and free periods

Platform billing is currently disabled. Free-launch rules and billing activation controls are separate; ending a free period must not silently enroll or charge someone. Paid ads or third-party checks are not automatically free because opportunity access is free.

### Before purchase

When enabled, checkout must show the actual price, currency, taxes, service, duration, recurring status and cancellation terms before affirmative agreement. No unsettled price, trial duration or renewal rule is established by this draft.

### Renewal and cancellation

For any future recurring plan, disclose billing frequency and renewal amount and provide an accessible cancellation method. Confirm cancellation and its effect on remaining access. Required reminders, failed-card handling and provider synchronization must be tested. Removing the home-screen app or deleting browser data does not itself cancel billing.

### Refunds and disputes

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, GIGtrunk platform purchases are refundable only when GIGtrunk determines, after review, that a charge resulted from fraud or an accidental purchase. Examples for review include an unauthorized transaction or an unintended duplicate purchase. A claim alone does not establish eligibility. Changing your mind, an unsuccessful search for work, disagreement with another user, or an unfavorable verification result does not by itself qualify. This rule concerns fees paid to GIGtrunk, not payments between users for work. It does not limit legally required remedies, cancellation rights or a right to dispute a charge through a payment provider.

### Advertising budgets

Spending should stop at the authorized budget and campaign limits. Final charging units, invalid-traffic adjustments and reporting terms must be disclosed before purchase. Provider events and refunds must reconcile before billing is considered ready.

### Requesting a refund

Submit a signed-in support case with the platform transaction reference, purchase date, amount and an explanation of the suspected fraud or mistake. Do not send full card numbers, passwords or identification documents in ordinary support messages. GIGtrunk may request relevant evidence, record its decision and allow review of an error. Any approved refund should return through the original payment method where available; processing depends on the provider. The public billing contact, response targets and implementation must be completed before paid launch. No fixed request deadline or processing guarantee is invented here.

### Direct payments between users

Users independently decide and make all payments for gig work. GIGtrunk does not receive, hold, insure, guarantee or refund these payments and is not a party to their work contract. Agree on payment method, deposits, due dates, cancellation and remedies directly before work begins. A platform refund does not settle a dispute between users.

## Email, Text & Push Notifications

Draft revision 0 · /legal/notifications

### Types of messages

Authentication and account-security emails support account access. Work-related alerts may concern messages and confirmed arrangements. Marketing permissions must remain separate from operational alerts; do not treat account creation as blanket marketing consent.

### Text alerts

The approved publication flow requires a verified mobile number and affirmative acknowledgement of work-alert texts. Telnyx activation remains pending. Final sender identity, message frequency, carrier-charge disclosure, STOP/HELP instructions and consent records must be validated before live texting. Marketing-text rules require separate review.

### Installed-app notifications

Adding GIGtrunk to the home screen does not itself grant push permission. The user must approve notifications. The intended routing prefers an enabled installed-app subscription and suppresses duplicate texts after a successful push-provider acceptance, with existing consent and STOP protections applying to fallback texts. Push readiness and real-device tests are still pending.

### Choices and delivery

Browser/phone settings control push permission. STOP must suppress texts; changing notification channels must not undo an opt-out. Alerts can be delayed or missed and are not an emergency channel. Marketing unsubscribe and operational preference controls must reflect actual available functionality.

## Identity & Verification Disclosure

Draft revision 0 · /legal/verification

### Meaning of checks

Email, phone, identity and background checks are different. Display only checks actually completed and their relevant status. A photo upload is not a liveness check. Payment does not mean a person passed verification and does not improve reputation.

### Information and permission

Use the name matching the identification submitted for a future check. Before collecting sensitive information, identify the provider, required information, purpose, retention and separate consent. Do not upload IDs into chat. Raw documents and biometric data should not be retained by default.

### Limits

Checks are limited to their scope and time. They do not guarantee future behavior, skill, licensing, insurance or safety. Provider integrations and duplicate-person matching are not yet operational.

### Errors and decisions

Provide a correction/dispute route for inaccurate results or mistaken account matches. Before using background information for employment or another regulated decision, counsel must review applicable consent, disclosure, dispute and adverse-action obligations. No automated adverse-action process is approved by this draft.

## Copyright & Content Complaints

Draft revision 0 · /legal/copyright

### Your material

Upload only content you own or are authorized to use, including photos, videos, music, logos and other people’s likenesses. Posting does not transfer ownership to GIGtrunk. Content-use permissions must be finalized in the Terms.

### Reporting a concern

A proposed complaint process will request identification of the work, location of the disputed material, contact information and the statements/signature required for the applicable process. Do not submit knowingly false claims. General safety complaints belong in support.

### Designated contact pending

No DMCA agent registration or monitored copyright address is claimed by this draft. Before publishing a formal DMCA procedure, confirm the operator and designated agent, register where appropriate and publish matching contact information.

### Response and counter-notice

Counsel must finalize removal, user notice, counter-notice, restoration timing and repeat-infringer procedures. Avoid promising automatic removal on accusation or treating a copyright complaint as proof of misconduct. Preserve required evidence with restricted access.

### No blanket content immunity

The prohibition on unlawful uploads does not replace GIGtrunk’s own duties. Copyright safe harbors depend on satisfying statutory conditions, including applicable agent and notice procedures. Other categories of illegal content may require separate reporting and removal processes. Counsel must assess them rather than relying on a general “not responsible for content” statement.

## Accessibility & Contact

Draft revision 0 · /legal/accessibility

### Access goal

GIGtrunk aims for usable keyboard navigation, readable text, labeled controls and layouts that work across devices. This is a commitment to improvement, not a claim of certified compliance or a completed accessibility audit.

### Report a barrier

Signed-in beta users can submit a support case describing the affected page, device/browser and what they could not do. Avoid including passwords or sensitive documents. A public accessible contact alternative must be confirmed before wider launch.

### Review work

Test keyboard and screen-reader navigation, focus visibility, form errors, contrast, zoom/reflow, captions and media alternatives. Track issues and fixes. Finalize the applicable accessibility target and response process with qualified review.

### Legal and privacy contacts

GIGtrunk, LLC is located at 4636 Lebanon Pike, Suite 317, Hermitage, TN 37076, United States. Monitored privacy/legal/accessibility email addresses are pending confirmation. This draft does not invent an inbox or promise a response deadline that is not staffed.
